E-Mail a Patient
Would you like to send some words of cheer or encouragement to an Eden Medical Center patient? You can send a special greeting to any patient currently staying in the medical center. Our staff will deliver your email (free of charge) as soon as possible; however, emails may not be delivered to outpatients, employees, or patients who have already been discharged.
E-mail Guidelines
E-mails received before 3:00 p.m. on weekdays will be delivered to the patient on that day.
E-mails received after 3:00 p.m., or on a weekend or holiday, will be delivered on the next business day or sooner if possible.
Every effort will be made to see that your message is delivered, but in some unique cases, an e-mail greeting may be undeliverable.
We cannot accept attachments (i.e., photos or music).
If a patient has been discharged from the medical center, we will be unable to deliver your message or forward it to their residence.

Confidentiality
The content of your e-mail greeting is not confidential. In order to deliver the mail, your message will be reviewed and printed by Eden Medical Center staff.
E-mail greetings that contain questionable content will be delivered at the discretion of the staff.
In order to protect the privacy of our patients, we may provide confirmation of the delivery of the e-mail only with written consent from the patient.

We are happy to deliver an e-mail greeting to patients at Eden Medical Center, which includes Eden Hospital and San Leandro Hospital.
In your e-mail, please include the patient's name and room number or location, as well as your name.
